Daniele Fortuna
“The timelessness of De Chirico, the inflamed reds of Sassu, the gestures of Fontana, I began to suffer the fascination of all this and I was moved by the generosity of these artists who had chosen to share their moods, their fears , their passions… My works are made up of wooden pieces, colored and assembled like a puzzle, after a methodical and patient work of serrating and painting. The natural material is treated, processed, up to look like something other than itself. This is how I create my works in my Piacenza studio-laboratory which now smells of paint and wood.”
